I held her while she cried and took her back into the house. I think it scared her more than anything else. I sat down on the couch and lulled her into a quiet sobbing. Next thing I knew, she was asleep. She was sleeping so peacefully that I didn't want to wake her by putting her in her bed, so I made myself comfortable and just let her sleep. I still had my jacket on and after 20 minutes, the back on my neck was dripping with sweat.
It was so nice to be able to just sit there and listen to her breathing. Luckily the TV was already on and I didn't have to move. I stayed in the same position for an hour and a half and the only thing she did was move her head from one shoulder to the other one.
Kids are so cute when they're sleeping.
