I had to get up to take my morning meds and I figured it was a good time to get on the computer. I'll be on the computer until I have to go to the bathroom. Then I'll decide if the computer chair or the couch is more inviting after that.
My back started giving me trouble after I helped Kristi out. She had partial power and I went over to her house with my trusty meter and tested all the fuses in her fuse boxes. Yep, fuses. Anyway, I had to go under the house to check a few fuses down there. I don't know if you'd call it a basement or a crawl space, but it was tall enough to walk and "stand" down there, but I had to bend over to do it. All that stooping caused my back to be sore for a few days after that, but no big problem.
It wasn't until yesterday that I began having major back problems. I was sitting sideways at the computer with my legs curled up on my computer chair. It was quite comfortable, that was until I got up to fix dinner. I had been in that position all day and since my body was twisted for such a long time, the muscles got very sore. I didn't realize it until I stood up and straightened out my body. OUCH!
Since then, I have been walking sideways like a crab and bent over to one side. I have my back belt on, but it doesn't seem to be helping that much. It's not the lower back that is in pain. it's more the side muscles near the back that are hurting.
Last night while getting ready for bed, I remembered that I hadn't picked up the mail, and decided to head down to the mailbox to pick it up. Oh, boy. That was fun. I got half way there and my muscles were not happy with me at all. By then, I was committed and I found that walking fast helped a lot. I managed to get my mail and make it back to the apartment. By then, I couldn't have cared less about the mail. I tossed it on the coffee table and went straight to bed.
