I noticed that my cell phone didn't work when I was in Canada. I'm going to call my cell phone company tomorrow and cancel my $10 a month "Canada Plan" since it is a total waste of money due to the fact that I can't send or receive any calls. The plan was supposed to treat all calls as if they were being sent or received in Maine, no matter where I was in Canada. I guess I found the catch. The plan is only effective IF the Canadian provider will allow the calls to go through. All I kept getting was a recording that told me my phone was not authorized for the network, and for me to call customer service.
The phone was only an annoyance the first day. After I realized that my phone was pretty much useless, it didn't bother me anymore.
My apartment is nice and clean and the Glade Plug-ins made opening the door a pleasant experience. It diverted my attention away from the fact that I'm the only one here. It was nice to be in a house with other people and pets.
I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow morning at 10:00. It is a 2 hour drive, so I'll be getting up early. Early for me anyway.
Tomorrow I also have to stop by the post office and pick up my mail and have them re-start the mail delivery to my mailbox.
I had a great time, but I am sad because I had to leave. I'm really looking forward to the day that I don't have to leave.
