What to get?

I'm trying to figure out what kind of gift to get rogonandiDan for our 1-year anniversary.

I don't know if he will wear a bracelet, necklace / pendant, or some other kind of jewelry. It's a little too late for me to start asking him probing questions about what he'll wear, without blowing the secret before hand.

I kinda want to get him something that I can have engraved.

Any ideas? He can't read this post. I made it so everyone except Dan can read it. So PLEASE, NO spilling the beans and blowing the surprise.

UPDATE: I removed the security on this post because he now has the gift and there is no longer a reason to have this post protected.

Money doesn't hang around long.

Ugh. I hate watching my money disappear right after I get it. It feels good to be able to pay bills, but it sucks seeing what little I have left, if I end up having any at all.

I'm actually still happy, if you can believe it. I love living here. The nearest house isn't close enough to hear any sounds and most of the time the kids that live here in this apartment building keep the noise level down to a dull roar.

I love listening to the wind blowing through the trees and smelling that wonderful fresh pine smell. There are pine trees that surround the property, so I still get a lot of nice greenery to look at, as well as the pine scent.

I'll take all of this nature over having money any day. PLUS, I'm close to the Canadian border and DAN! So, how could I possibly be unhappy?

I do have to admit, that if I were to get a lot of money, I wouldn't be unhappy about that. ;-)

Maybe an eccentric relative will give me a large sum of money for my birthday. LOL - yeaaahhhh, roooight! Most of my relatives could be considered eccentric, but they also happen to be very liberal and tend to keep their bank accounts around the same balance of mine. Hehehe
