Last April, I changed my cell phone service from Cingular Wireless to Verizon Wireless (Can you hear me now?) and the service has been 10x better. I now only get dropped calls once in a while as opposed to every 10 minutes or so with Cingular. Plus on Cingular, my family and friends had to call me 5 to 9 times before the system would connect them to even my voice mail! Needless to say, I dropped them like a hot potato.
So, like I was beginning to say, I just got off the phone with customer service and I now have a new pricing plan. Verizon let's you change your plan anytime you want to. The only catch is that you have to extend your contract to end a year from when you made the change. I don't mind that at all. If I'm happy with the service, I don't mind the contract starting over to go a year from now.
I signed up for the America's Choice 300. I can call anywhere in the United States without being charged long distance for only $39.99 a month.
My plan includes:
- 300 Anytime Minutes, PLUS and additional 100 Bonus Anytime Minutes
- 1000 Anytime Mobile to Mobile Minutes
- Unlimited Night & Weekends calling
Woohoo! :-D
